I started taking Hum Nutrition way back in February in preparation for our wedding. I wanted to get my nails, skin, and hair into shape. After I started taking their Runway Ready supplements they reached out to be and sent over a bunch of their different supplements to try out.
I’ll admit, life has been a little crazy, and there was a good two months since then that I didn’t take my Hum, but over the last month and a half since I moved to LA and rediscovered the bottles I’m back on track and have actually run out of all of the stuff they sent over. I’v had some time to really way what worked for me and which ones I prefer.
First things first, the weight loss and cleanse products are not for me. I’ve never had a good gage of my appetite, the whole “eat until you’re full” thing doesn’t work for me, so appetite suppressants are out, and cleanses aren’t how I like to get healthy. I used Cleanse to the Rescue and appreciated the ingredients for radiant skin, but maybe not the flat stomach. However, one of the combo packets I’m interested in includes this to fight acne.
I’m a little annoyed with myself for using up all of the said anti-acne vitamins in the “Flawless and Fearless” before I really needed them. Ever since I got to Los Angeles my skin has been on the fritz. I used these up while I was on my period and had hormonal acne, but these new flare ups are much worse! I would definitely try these again.
Other than that, the rest of the ones that I tried I’m a big fan of. I prefer the ones that come in the form of a soft gel because those are easier to take, but I’m a big girl and can handle a pill I suppose. Also, please note, some of these are combination packs of two of the other pills. I like the combo packets because they are easy for me to take on the go, and I travel a lot for work. However, the bottles are easier for me to store.
Hum I Love:
Hair Sweet Hair
Hum I would try again:
Flawless and Fearless (breakouts)
Turn Back Time
New Hum I’m interested in:
Glow Sweet Glow
Bonus, Hum for Andy:
OMG! Omega the Great
Just to break it down a little more, the ones that I love cover the basics for hair, skin, and nail health. That’s what I went to Hum for in the first place. The ones that I would try again are specifically for my annoying LA breakouts, and then the ones for aging. My skin isn’t showing signs of aging yet so I can’t be sure that they worked, however I know its never to early to start at least preventing wrinkles.
The ones that I’m interested in are two new products: Glow Sweet Glow and Collagen Pop. Both are beauty focused and I like the gummy I already tried so might as well look into the new one. Beauty ZZZZ looks great because I never get enough rest. I live on the West Coast now but the people I work with the most are in London and NYC which means early hours. Wing Man I’m on the fence about, I’ve probably had three drinks in the past four months so my liver probably doesn’t need a detox, but the description mentions dark circles and those have been persistent.
Finally, I want Andy to start taking OMG! Omega the Great. He already has great skin, hair, and nails but its more of an overall supplement, and the brain implications are encouraging as well.
I’ll keep you updated as i try new supplements and keep taking the ones I love!
