If you watch my Snapchat and Instagram stories (if not watch the video below!) you most likely have seen the name “Push the Envelope PR” on multiple occasions. They represent brands like Radical Skincare, Bioderma, Summer Royce, and Evolvh and have sent me lovely PR packages in the past.
This past week I was absolutely blown away at their thoughtfulness and generosity when I received a care package to help Andy and I relax and unwind before we leave for Jamaica. I know they had seen a couple of my Instagram posts about the wedding because they had been leaving the sweetest comments on the photos, so I guess they decided to send over some goodies!
The package contained a serum from Aphorism Skincare, an aromatherapy roller from Aim Hi Every Day, portable aromatherapy from Esym, and a candle and skincare from Olivina Men.
Push the Envelope either knows us very well or got super duper lucky because everything in the package was perfect for us! I’ve been writing about serums on my blog quite a bit lately and I’m always excited to try a new one out, especially one that is locally made (in NYC) and vegan. Aphorism Skincare seems to focus on serums and oils, I haven’t been able to try this one out yet but anything that I like I’ll make sure to update you all on in the future.
Andy happens to be really into aromatherapy, and really anything scented. My mom defaults to buying him candles or incense as gifts because they will always be a hit. This roller-ball is scented with essential oils and is one of their more recent releases. Aim Hi is based in Hawaii and also makes other beauty products, their scrubs really caught my eye on their website because of their beautiful packaging and the fact that I’ve been overwhelmed with coffee scrubs so the other scents were super exciting for me.
The Esym aromatherapy was also gold – it is portable so we can actually bring it with us to the resort (unlike Andy’s bulky diffuser). Although he is more into aromatherapy than I am, I was all about the look of the diffuser. It looks minimal and futuristic, being just a small white disk. The scent was also lovely, and was more aromatic than herbal, which is what a lot of these oils seem to lean toward. Right after I received this box I actually saw the diffuser at Urban Outfitters!
Next up was some skincare for men. Andy uses moisturizers, scrubs, and cleansers, so this was a treat to get some new products to try. I tend to have a stockpile so maybe Push the Envelope PR knew that he can get jealous of my overload. They sent Andy their Day and Night Face Rescue, which is a moisturizer, their Bourban Cedar Solid Cologne, and Juniper Mint lip balm. I’m claiming the Ginger Beer scented candle even though Andy is the candle guy, as that is my favorite drink and I love ginger in general.
The wedding is getting closer and closer! This box really did the trick to help us unwind. Thanks again to Push the Envelope and the brands they work with.
